Pro Career: Claimed via waivers from Seattle on Nov. 21 immediately flew to Arizona, took a physical exam,
on Saturday, and returned kicks in Sundays Nov. 24 contests vs. Oakland originally sixth-round draft choice by Denver (190th
overall) in 2001 NFL Draft played in 10 games as a rookie (four starts) and caught eight passes for 84 yards and returned
14 kickoffs for 26.6-yard average spent first eight weeks of 2002 with Broncos played in four games, inactive for four others
returned 15 kickoffs for 26.2-yard average claimed via waivers by Seattle on Oct. 30 and played in three contests with seven
kickoff returns for 22.3-yard average before joining Arizona.
2002 (Arizona, Seattle, Denver): Claimed via waivers from
Seattle Friday, Nov. 22, passed his physical the next day, and was in uniform vs. Oakland Nov. 24 overall played in six games,
starting the final four, and caught 15 passes for 180 yards (12-yard average) with three touchdowns and returned 32 kickoffs
for 722 yards (24.4-yard average) completed a whirlwind welcoming weekend vs. Raiders (Nov. 24) with six kickoff returns for
132 yards less than 48 hours after being claimed via waivers also stamped his mark on coverage units with three assists another
busy game at Kansas City (Dec. 1) with six kickoff returns for 120 yards, including 36-yarder in third quarter despite playing
in just his third game with Cardinals, started at wide receiver vs. Detroit (Dec. 8) and caught three passes for 49 yards,
including a diving 23-yarder on third-and-seven from midfield to the Lion 28-yard line as Cards kicked game-winning field
goal three plays later in 2320 win also converted a third-and-nine in second quarter with 19-yard grab in addition to four

action with four kickoff returns for 130 yards vs. Miami (Oct. 13), good for a 32.5-yard average and long of 56 yards gained
179 yards on eight returns the next week at Kansas City (Oct. 20), inactive at New England (Oct. 27) claimed off waivers by
Seattle on Oct. 30 first action as Seahawk Nov. 3 vs. Washington with one kickoff return for 29 yards two returns for 52 yards
at Arizona (Nov. 10) five more returns for 104 yards vs. Denver (Nov. 17).
2001 (Denver): Played in 10 games with four
starting assignments concluded rookie season with eight pass receptions for 84 yards (10.5-yard average) and made his mark
on the kickoff return team with impressive 26.6-yard average on 14 returns for 372 yards returned a kickoff 29 yards and posted
three special teams tackles in first NFL action vs. N.Y. Giants (Sept. 10) saw 97-yard kickoff return for a touchdown vs.
Arizona (Sept. 23) called back due to penalty, but responded with two returns for 26.5-yard average averaged 33 yards on five
kickoffs (165 yards) vs. Baltimore (Sept. 30) and caught his first NFL pass, for 17 yards suffered sprained right ankle in
first quarter at Kansas City (Oct. 7) spent next six weeks on inactive list while recuperating first NFL start at Miami (Dec.
2) caught two passes vs. Seattle (Dec. 9) and gained 27 yards on double reverse in first rushing attempt two catches for 30
yards at Kansas City (Dec. 16) and one pass reception for seven yards and two kickoff returns for 44 yards vs. Oakland (Dec.
30).
College/Personal: Former walk-on rose to first-team all-Big Ten Conference honors at Iowa and two-time academic all-conference
selection in 44 games (21 starts) for the Hawkeyes became the schools all-time receptions leader with 157 catches and finished
fourth in career receiving yardage with 1,974 yards his 82 receptions as a senior set school single-season record and led
Big Ten conference his 1,010 yards in 1999 ranked second in school history football, wrestling, and track standout at Hinsdale
(Ill.) South High School owns degree in marketing from Iowa married the former Lisa Cleppe during the past off-season...born
